Not the US. A little bit south.
Not Mexico. A little bit east.
Hmmm. Well, Tico, do you mean as in islands? Not certain about which islands can be considered as the Americas except for Central America.
Yes, I mean the islands of Caribbean. (Considered part of North America, somewhat as Iceland or Mallorca are considered part of Europe, or Japan is part of Asia.)
Like the Cayman Islands or Jamaica?
Sorta like that, but not either of those two.
Well, honey. The only thing that I can possibly imagine would be the Bahamas. Let's decide on your photo. Is that a major city in a particular island?
It is definitely a major city, possibly (although I haven't confirmed this) the largest city in the Caribbean.
Is the place in Puerto Rico?
West of Puerto Rico. You, living in Florida, have probably met many immigrants from this place, although you would never go there yourself.
Yes! Now name the city, and I'll tell you what you're looking at.
Yes. Fascinating place, Havana is. (And although Cuba is a cheap vacation for Canadians, there's a surprising number of Americans there, but I don't know how they get there.)
The pictures that I posted are of La Coppelia, a entire city block given over to ice cream -- yes, I'm a little fixated on that this week. It has a central pavilion with the vendors and some seating, but most people take their treats and sit on the benches under the trees. It's really quite lovely, and a wonderful idea in the heat.
Your turn, Letty.
Tico, I swear, I had no idea that Cuba was considered to be part of North America.
Honey, I would love just to go some place that isn't America.<smile>
Ok. back in a few with a place

Monumento de Miguel de Cervantes, Don Quijote y Sancho Panza, del sur de Plaza de EspaƱa. Madrid Spain, been there and seen it.
You post again Letty, will be away for quite a while today. Sorry
Until Dutchy is available....
Who and Where?
Phew, I am trying to decipher the words. Hale is visible. Hmm, anything to do with any Hale man? I have heard of quite a few Hales, btw. And yea, Miss Letty, are you in a cemetery?
