Instead of some perhaps misleading hints like e.g. Venus of Milo, here's an aerial view and the exact position
Well, Walter. I wish I could say the aerial view revealed all, but I cannot. <smile>. With your mention of Venus de Milo, however, would that castle have works of art within? (wow! this German beer is REfreshing)
Like in most castles, there's art in it. (Cars are generally not considered as art - but that museum is a bit outside  )
But some very special art was there only during a short period.
Ferdinand VI of Spain - that's the ultimate hint.
I meant famous works of art that even an American may know.
Ok. You have said that someone famous was once imprisoned there, and that it contains cars. (just kidding). Let's go for the location. Is the castle near Paris?
Depends, on what you call near.
But there are bus tours going from Paris in that region - although I doubt, to that castle (c.i. already named one of that "group of castles")
[And Winged Victory of Samothrace and the Venus de Milo should be known even by Americans  ]
Walter, Walter. You are misreading my posts, honey. I was trying to inject a bit of wit. (strictly between us you're cuter than Venus and once more you have arms.)
Then give me a directional hint. Is the area of France in the South?

It's south of Paris, where the many famous castles are.
Oops. What happened to the filter. Sorry, Walter. I got a critical error message.
I would never have known that. Good work, Tico. Your picture doesn't look much like Walter's.
Ah, the difference between a daytime shot and a nighttime one, Letty.

I would never have got this one without the Ferninand clue.
Back in a minute!
Yes, it's in the Americas.
