France is correct - as already noted.
Hmm, but the "blue thing" there is water ... salty water, to be precise

Actually: neither
North-west of Angers. (That's what I actually wanted to write behind that "Try" above )

It's probably not Fontainblaeu, but I will guess that anyway.

When you say salty and blue, you mean the ocean, right?

It's on this map (though not marked/noted):
(And 'yes' - it's that ocean)

Well, another guess, Walter. Chenonceau? If that's not the one, how about a direction from Mont St. Michel.

We are not looking for a Loire castle, Letty - the direction from Mont St. Michel is .. westwards/left.

"café latte"? Is there an Italian connection? Or would I be better with a café au lait?
I'm going to guess St Malo.

Although St Malo is near - it's still to the left of that
Their's no real Italian connection, but one to Monaco (Grimaldi).
The café latte was meant different ... (Café au lait wouldn't work )

Hmmm. Trying to figure how coffee house would apply. I have a lousy map, and it's all a process of elimination for me, Walter, as I know nothing of France.

The next level of that map I've posted above would clearly show the place .....
