Is it in Central Europe, Francis? Looks really modern.

In a geographical sense, it's Central Europe.
Tico, I've been meaning to thank you for those direct links you posted for me. That was very considerate of you.
Explain something if you will, Francis. What do you mean by "geographical sense"?
In Europe, we still have a poltical meaning to "Central Europe" inherited from the communist era.
Communist satellite countries like Czechoslovakia, Hungary, and so on were "Central Europe".
But the country of the picture is not one of those...
OK. Thank you, Francis.
Just a guess. Austria?
Just in case Austria is not correct, this may be the general area:
Not Austria but one of the countries in Wandel's map is right.
Ha, I've been there. This is the Dorint Hotel Tower in Augsburg .
The architecture is similar to the twin towers in Chicago.
Right, CJ!
It's called the Maiskolben, can you translate?
Maiskolben = Corn on the cob, and it looks like that too.

So where could this be?
Corn on the cob, C.J.? Fantastic. I can see whence cometh its name.
Ok, are you in the U.S.?
Yes Miss Letty, we're back in the U.S.
Ok, at least I won't have to go through all the European countries.
Are we on the West coast?
Wouldn't be in California, would it C.J. <smile>
wild guess, honey.
