Well, that narrows it down a lot! According to my miniature globe I have on one of my shelves, the only two major continents in the southern hemisphere I can see are either Africa or Australia.
So if I had to choose between the two, the picture seems to be more Australian than African.
How about off South Africa?

Those red rocks look Aussie to me...The Olgas ?

Grampians, Victoria?
nope. here's another clue--it's known for strange animals, like a cigarette smokin lagomorph.

Dryandra Forest, Francois Peron Peninsula or Trimouille Island
tasmania is the right continent, but it's a smaller island, named after an iconic mammal. it starts with 'k'. good luck. ;-)

I don't understand it. It is not posting my photos. It only comes up as a URL.
try the IMG button instead of the URL after clicking post reply ;-)
Poetseductress - are you trying to upload a picture directly onto A2k?
What you need to do is upload it first to a hosting site (like Image-Shack or Tinypic) and then copy the url into your post using the IMG function.
If this is what you were doing, then apologies!

Well, I've posted images for clip art, here, very easily. And I've done it with photos, too, on other forums by just adding img and /img to the address. However, these photos I found on the Web, here, have a DOUBLE URL. There are two addresses put together.
It works with the URL button, but not the IMG button. But if I use the URL button, it will reveal what the place is by noticing the description in the address bar.
