You're so good at swooping in, Tico! You've got it -- that's all of Port Angeles, actually, with the north side of the Olympic Mountains in the background. The second photo is looking north towards Victoria and Vancouver Island. The special credit was that the photograph was taken while standing on Ediz Hook, a 3-mile long sandspit extending out from Port Angeles See "EH" on the map below.

Thanks for posting it, Tico! That is an amazing museum... both architecturally and for its collection. I just can't believe I've never been there. And here I've been on the web checking out the Canadian Film Board's list of First People films this morning!
