Right, Osso. Now I'll have to say goodnight in my modest little cottage by the sea.
Ok, back in a while. I have to go photo hunting.
I'll give the link for this photo when/if someone guesses. Please don't do the properties thing in the meantime....
How could you tell, I say smiling...
Isn't that photo just so California....
yes, northern cal.
I've been surfing....the net. That scene does look like Northern California, and we've probably driven through that very street. But, alas, I cannot identify it.
I have driven through there too, CI, and I wouldn't know it from the photo either, that not being my vantage point at the time...
Well, one would have to look at a map for some northern california towns and then see which ones matched the type of landscape. This is not, for example, in the middle of a redwood forest, and it has a certain kind of atmosphere..
Okay, mind if I play? Looking up maps as we speak, but I'm not very good at this!
but it is inland, right?
devri, I'm certain that Walter wants you to play.
Thanks, Letty. It looks inland to me. One of those sleepy little towns tucked away in the hills.
Is it known for anything, osso? I don't know northern Cali- that well.
Whole area known for beauty..
Not all that inland...
Within an hours drive from San Francisco?
I don't know about hour, a bit more, I believe.
(I'll be gone on an errand, have to get some batteries, back soon.)
Any chance it's in the Bay area?
'kay, osso. We'll stay here and ponder!
I'm back...
Bay area, well, depends on what you call the Bay area..
