Yes cicerone - it is Amsterdam. The Sheraton Hotel,
Amsterdam, to be exact.
I walked the streets of Amsterdam last May, but it seems as though it was several years ago. It's a great walking city, and riding the canal boats isn't necessary to see Amsterdam. My hotel was in the "red light" district, but the area has many nice restaurants and shops.
