@Dutchy,
Oh, thank you, I was trying to make him Cervantes, and what would he be doing standing there in silver or bronze in Canada?
Is this Shakespeare?

Shakespeare at Festival Theatre in Stratsford, Ontario.

I thought it looked like him (whatever he looked like, and I here there a painting just now thought to be of him) but was off chasing explorers of Canada...

@Dutchy,
I've just decided to torture you all with italy photos.

I've recently unpacked my collection of Bell'Italia magazines from the late 80's, and early 90's, about 200 of them. They were expensive then to subscribe to, and now I'd have to sell my house and car to subscribe, if they're even published anymore.

The thing about them is, well, several things -
the color photography is outstanding;
the architectural diagrams describing the history and development of various buildings or areas is the best I've ever seen; when I did know the place they were talking about, I found their write up to be the most exacting I'd seen;
the magazines are in italian, very good italian, and it wasn't so easy for me to understand them fifteen years ago - now I forget much;
the magazines used to astound me, time after time featuring places I'd never heard of.

So, they're a source of interesting places. I won't use them for game places to google all the time, but will sometimes, as a learning experience for me too.

So, here's one -

@Dutchy,
North.
Trying to help, since I've now found it hard to pinpoint oa a map, but I do find the area, then knowing that, I could find a map with the place on it. Ay yi yi.
It would be easiest if you can say what the main building is, and then google those buildings in the vicinity.
The more I read about it, the more interesting it gets, but my first link saying something about part of it replacing something from around 7oo has evaporated from my desktop.
