That is all undoubtedly true, Francis. Still, my ill advised and typed view on that is not entirely lame, never mind time of day.

And, I'm not really angry.
I deal with almost all of you knowing infinitely more that I do, all the time.
Which I understand.

But I get agitated with the play between those who know, when I don't. It's a shut off. Cute.
And no, I don't need a nap for reconsideration. Don't condescend to me.

Yes, Messina. I have been reading about DH Lawrence and (wife?) changing trains at Messina in, I think, very early 1920's. I've low sympathy for him, except that he wrote what he thought, which is a point gainer for me.

Can't post for the moment as about to go out for dinner. Will post later or some one else can take my turn in the meantime.
My mother's brother was a German Luftwaffe pilot, and was shot down in his Messerschmidt over Messina, my brother still has the photographs of the plane full of bullet holes.
