Not an embassy (Francis named the purpose of the building already). And "colony" isn't perhaps the proper legal name but not too wrong.

It's a guest house. And "German" wasn't incorrect as wasn't "Asia".

Yes, the Quingdao guest house where the German governor general resided.
This is one of the European villas in China.
