I made two mistakes about osso's picture. 1. I thought there was water behind the skyscrapers; wrong. 2. I thought the water in the foreground was a bay; wrong.
I was in Sao Paulo, and we went to "that" park. At least, we drove through that park, and I remember some of the buildings within the park that was showing some Van Gogh paintings. It might be one of those round buildings... Unfortunately, my camera was stolen in Montevideo, and so I had no camera for picture taking.
And, love a duck, I haven't been anywhere near Sao Paolo, and just learned from this thread that it is, what????, south, of Rio.
CI, I was especially quiet re your Rio question, as you were nearby...

Ibirapuera park, Sao Paulo
I love this thread for the learning, and always always appreciate commentary.
And, why aren't there people in that parque in the photo, eh?
Okay, okay, they're teensy.
I can see two people under that big green tree in the forground oss, they're having an argument.
None of them clumping. Must be the serenity......
I can post a new picture but I won't be available for a few hours. Would that matter?
Calatrava's spire in Chicago...
heh.
I don't dare say what it looks like to me! LOL
You know your country well ossobuco! Go ahead and post a new one.
And if your 'vibrations' are any indication C/I, I know exactly what you're thinking.
I said heh since I've had thread on the spire. That may or may not be the last best version; I've not got them all straight..
Massif Central, Francis? (At least, that's what my wife thinks).
Really, just want to wish you a Joyeux Noel.
I heartfeltly reciprocate, lmur, and to your wife too.
But, sadly, this place is not in France. Rather far away, indeed.

I am going to say somewhere in the Southwest.
Francis this would be lovely Christmas graffiti for my thread. I would love for you to post it there.
Middle East? Like Israel?
