I have been waiting for you to turn up Francis. Have another shot because it cannot be found in the Benelux Countries.

Don't know why, but looks like the river Danube to me!

It looks more like a canal than a river.

Canal, river, stream, creek what does it matter, I'm after the place where these houses, bridge and water are situated in Europe.
(I'm off to bed now, midnight downunder, and will see you again tomorrow morning).

Hi Clary, Long time no see. I know you travel more than I do, so the question is, what destination in the past year did you find exceptional? I want to return to Sicily just because of this thread.

The houses (chimney thingies) and the high rise were kind of a giveaway....

Hi there c i - yes of course, Dublin - Sicily yes I liked it a lot and we've had quite a lot of students from Palermo this year.
I keep going back to Europe, in particular France and Switzerland. Going to Belgium and France in a couple of weeks. Lifestyle is the best there.
Going to Middle East and Iran and India soon though, still have a soft spot for India, having lived there. I like to explore but less extensively than when I was younger. My son and I will go for 4/5 days to Iran and then come back to the comfort of Dubai!

At first I was guessing that is a work by Andy Goldsworthy, but I can't find a photo of it. Plus, it might not be by him. Hmmm....

Oh, thanks... hehehe! I really like the colors in that avatar.
Okay, photo: I think you'll easily find it, but it's not in Scotland.
