Letty I was going to start with suggesting the US, but on close examination of the photo, I note the horses are walking on the left hand side of the road, which would indicate England to me?

Right, Dutchy, it's England. Want to pinpoint the place? A nightingale once sang in this particular square. Razz

A nightingale sang in Berkely Square, London. From the 1940 show "New Faces" and sung by Vera Lynn?

Very cool.

I gather not everyone in that river valley likes the bridge, but given there is one, that one is beautiful - at least in some of the photos, many of which are on some threads on a2k.

I am not particularly impressed with that bridge, especially from that angle.

The enormity of the structure is more apparent in this photo.

Hello Gus, you have certainly learnt the art of reproducing beautiful pictures since I first instructed you how to do it. You have been become an expert infact, I'm very, very proud of you.

I agree your picture is so much better than mine, than again, I just picked one at random from the many at my disposal. By the way, what are you doing this time of the night roaming the threads?

Is it because the mossies keep you awake in the swamp? If so, let me know, and I will sent you some excellent mossie repellent from beyond the black stump!
