No, osso. Actually, I was having some problems. I couldn't get anything to work properly. I probably need to re boot. Back in a few.

Hint: satt would know this place. Razz

Oh, but Satt would know a lot of places.

It doesn't seem like Japan all to me, but I'll ask, is this Japan?

Unfortunately, though I've been on the Travel game threads since almost the very beginning, my participation has been sporadic, and I don't have a sense of Satt's focus, past Japan, whereas y'all know I like Italy..

Well, Clint Eastwood recently made it famous again. Think island.

Doesn't look like any photo I've seen of Mt. Fuji, but I'll go ahead and guess that.

Check the post right above you, osso. That's a big hint, and Walter recently had a thread about it, and the lack of blacks in the film.

Is that Iwo Jima?

(I think that's where your clues lead, but every photo I can find of Iwo Jima landscape shows a small island with one rounded hill, so it doesn't really look like your photo at all....)

Well, learning yet again. I'd never have guessed Iwo Jima looked like that. (blush).

Calatrava is an architect who does wild sinuous bridges and buildings.

This may not be sinuous enough.. just an immediate association. Alas, I don't have a photo memory.
