Dutchy, you may have missed my question about Chinatown in San Francisco, but I will repeat it, and is the statue Sun Yat Sen?

Indeed it is the home of Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr., Dutchy. Amazingly, it was his son who wrote The Chambered Nautilus, buddy, but since I was surprised at that myself, we'll overlook that small mistake.

Ah, that's what I said - but not clearly enough. Holmes (poet) was born there, Artemas Ward was 'stationed' there, and the house was in the neighborhood of the Craigie house, where Longfellow (also a poet) lived.

Back later to play some more.

Hmm, those look like eucalyptus trees. Hard to tell though.

Is that an army General?

Ossobucco I apologise for being late. Letty asked me to look after the thread, but that was at 4am when I was still asleep! It is now 7.45am and have just read hear mail.

Back to business, this person was certainly a General, much more infact, he earned his statue for being a freedomfighter a liberator of his country and more.

Yes, George. That is the man's name. I was quite interested in reading his history, oh, furry one. Know the place?

Don't know the place. I looked at a number of Bolivar statues, but none matched this one. And now it's time for me to go.
