Hint: Each pilgrim told two tales on the way to visit this martyr's tomb.
I am still perplexed why the pictures don't show, however.
Yes, Dutchy. Do you know whose tomb?
Even if Thomas à Becket had chosen somewhere else to earn his martyr's crown, Canterbury would still deserve attention for its role in the spread of Christianity throughout England.
(Can't post a pictures for several hours Letty)
I didn't see any photos until this last one... (blue box with question mark on a mac). Thought it was my computer, whew.)
Wonder where Dutchy is?
I'll try a quick one just to see if all is well with my picture processing.
Where am I?
Well, now I'm confused. I couldn't see the photos besides the last two last night, no matter how long I waited.
This morning I got the blue square with question mark again, the mac equivalent to the box with the red x, and did my mac maneuver to see the image, whereupon it said
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access (probably your name, Letty, with some numbers).jpg on this server.
So I copied the url, as Dutchy said, and opened another window, and Voila!
But then when I went back and clicked on the thread the photo was there.
Huh. Might have shown up if I'd've just waited.
Anyway, this beach photo worked fine, Letty.
Is it in Florida?
Thanks, osso, for testing. So, forbidden? How curious. I have also found that I often get the message, "This page cannot be displayed". Well, just glad it's working today. Not, Florida.
Well, looks like you're starving, Miss Letty, as your daughter doesn't feed you
Well, Francis. My daughter is in Orlando, so she hasn't a chance to feed this hungry mother.

Fond memories of that place.
That makes sense - I picture Florida as much more level land than in the photo, felt dumb after I'd posted the guess.
Is this on the main shoreline? (I've yet to look at a map re possible islands).
No, osso, not on the Eastern shore.
Hint: the place was so named because legend has it that a rescue group found an Indian child who was lost and looking for his mother.
Is this a beach on Jamestown Island in the Colonial National Historic Park?
No, osso, but it is a state park. Strangely enough, the nearby town is named after a man who shares a first name with Francis.
Humming: Swamp fox; swamp fox tail on his hat....<smile>
Is this along the James River?
No, osso. Go back and check all the clues. If you put them together, you will have the name of the state park, and then the place will be easy to find.
Well, I found Hungry Mother State Park near Marion, but I don't think that was an Indian child.
