Is anyone else completely bummed that Noah Wyle (Dr. Carter) is leaving ER? Ever since I saw the commercials for last week's episode, I've been in a funk, knowing he would be going. And this week, it looks like we'll see his goodbye. Anyway, I know that it's a bit silly to get sad because a character is leaving a TV show, but I've loved ER all these years, and Carter has been my favorite character since the beginning. I hope that his final show is good enough to give him the credit he deserves.
Well, he's gone. And even if no one else really cares, I'm still upset....
I need a hug.
Look on the light side.
He's probably leaving because he has become big enough of a star to command his own series or movie roles. Even though ER is a megahit, those ensemble shows pay less than you think because the money has to be split among so many stars.
So you'll probably see him in his own series soon.
Did they kill him off? Or did they leave it open for him to return in case his solo career doesn't work out?
oh my.....
i feel awful. I love that show and have not watched it since his trip to africa!
How in the h*** can he leave?!
he makes that show. He is the only original character left.. Unless you count Luca.. But even then, Luca came on after he did.
They must be leaving the airways for Carter to leave the show.
Sad.
Ill hug ya!
((( smog )))
CARTER IS BACK!! (or so the commercials say)
I didn't know! I agree, I remember when he was just an intern, over the years he has done so much.
Okay, he was only back for 1 episode (and a few seconds at the very end of the preceding one). But oh, while it lasted, it was glorious! Dr. Del Amico (played by Maria Bello), a character from several years ago, was also back for that one episode.
