A lackluster box-office for 2005 (well, compared to the years where LOTR ruled) and "Kingdom of Heaven" has actually reached the producer's expectations, world-wide a whopping $56M! That means it's likely to top out $100M by next week.

The reviews coming in are good and Ebert stated it was better than "Gladiator." Ridley Scott can always be counted on for a handsome production design and this timely story of the Christian and Muslem confrontation seems to really ring true in the European countries.
