Cannot delete from desktop

Hi All,

I have a Word document that will not delete into the trash/recycle. Instead, everytime I boot up my computer it returns. I have tried dragging it into the trash and it returns. I drag it into documents and it duplicates in documents and remains on the desktop. It's reproducing. Any ideas how I can end this? Thanks, Cliff
