@fresco,
My question to you sir: What if I know the truth and all of these facts to be sure, regarding Babylon the great, as well as all of the basic bible truths, and I want to make the necessary changes to become a Witness of the Only True God, but I am having a difficult time with making changes (smoking, etc...)?
What do I do next?

@markt43711,
I think you know the answer - 1. take in knowledge (John 17:3); 2. Repent and turnaround from any bad practices with the help of God's holy spirit and support from the congregation and 3. Get baptized and finally 4. Preach, preach, preach and teach somemore until the end comes.

@neologist,
Hell, this is only a resolution suggested by another group, and not even accepted for consideration by the UN, much less passed!

You're making much ado about nothing

@neologist,
Its not when some group proposes this that you;ll see action but rather when Jehovah God puts it into the hearts of these National leaders.

@markt43711,
it too me 16 years to get to the point of baptizm. then another 11 years to correct some other more minor flaws. and i am still working on many more. it will take 1000 years to bring mankind back to profection. so read the bible daily and study study study pray for Gods Holy Spirit to direct you. never give up. when you fall get up. i've never seen anyone fall down and say well i;ve falling so i just as welol stay here. no but they get up and go on. my prayers are that you succeed.

@markt43711,
Sorry, I did not spot your question.

One acknowledged function of religion is to tell you what to do. The fact that you ask that question yet claim to "know the truth", suggests you should think a bit harder about your usage of the words "know" and "truth".

Note that philosophers have written volumes on the problems of defining those two words, so I wish you luck !

@Walter Hinteler,
Keep you eye on the world news. see what religion is doing. it is disrupting world peace. and people will and are leaving the religions because of their failures to teach the truth. and are exibiting a true hatred and not the love they claim to have. once the waters ( people) leave the religions and the protection is lowered the religions will have no protection. like ancient babylon when cyrus lowerd the water protecting ancient babylon then was able to destroy babylon

I assume you mean "back to perfection". So when exactly was he "perfect" ?
