I saw this news item:
Pope Benedict XVI gets email address, and the first thing I could think of was, how long 'til he starts getting spam?
With all due respect to Benedict XVI and his followers, any publicly posted email address gets spammed. Hence the question is not if, but when, and it's probably not a question of what, but what's the most common type.
I hope he has good filters.
C'mon, let's have some fun!
He'll get flooded with emails from "littleboys.net."
And he'll subscribe, of course.
So that would be the pictures, eh?
The pope would only subscribe to the premier kiddy porn sites. It would have pictures, webcams, chat rooms, and personals section.
And "satanworshippers.com."
Heeheeheeheeheeheeheeheeheehee . . .
Good one, Jes . . . you know, in Chicago, after the last Pope was elected, they used to say that a bowling alley had been opened across the street from the Vatican, so the Pope would have some place to cash his check on Fridays (refers to Chicago Polish "culture") . . . i wonder what sorts of bon mots will arise for God's Stormtrooper?
I voted for Nigerian spam ("your name has been provided to me as a person of good character ...."). I just think those folks are everywhere. I think Bennie 16 should testify in some trial vs. the Nigerian scammers.
Bailiff: Do you swear ... oh, wait, you don't swear, do you? Do you at least, uh, promise to tell the truth?
Bennie 16: Sure, uh, say, I see your Bible is kind of old. I have a newer one in my car. Should I get it?
Boby part enhancement offers? Sheesh, he already as that phallic pope hat. I heard they were going to pin pictures of Bea Arthur on it to tone it down a bit.
Then you'd be able to see her face coming from miles away. Take that information any way you wish.
Botox ads. I think that the head of any large organization should have the youthful image of a person with the energy to get things done. And while they're at it, I'll bet that a company selling quality wigs or hair coloring for men, would have some interest.
I too voted for the Nigerian scam emails. Send us your bank account # and we will deposit $2 million in it.
They seem to be the perfect sucker for this type of scam. The Catholic Church has lots of money but still solicits more money weekly. Someone outside religion might even see this as the greed necessary to make this scam work. We all know you can't get something for nothing but with God's help anything is possible so why not $2 million for nothing.
"Hot naked boys with large silly hats." He wouldn't stand a chance!
