The transferral of votes means that, at this moment in time, Kickycan is now in the lead with 15 votes.

My eventual total of votes will be transferred to either Gus or Mr K, dependant on who offers me the best perkerage ( in writing ).

This information may be printed off, rolled up and inserted into the exhaust pipe of the love bus if so desired.

Ha ha ha! Aren't you cute, L.E.!

The votes now are only for nominations. We've all voted three times! In the final vote, we'll only get one vote apiece. So it will come down to a simple matter of which party has the most people. And that's Love & Beauty, of course, by a mile.

Blow that out your tailpipe.

Respectfully,

Eva

Don't wanna scare anybody...but I've had a personal revelation that anyone who does not vote for me...will spend the rest of eternity in Hell being subjected to intense, excruciating, unrelenting pain.

But it is still your call.

Ellpus, I cannot allow you to transfer my slate to kickycan-that little dude weirds me out. Hes a perve and cannot serve. He insults me regularly in threads and he must pay. I rescind my offer to turn over my votes to you since you are but a limey schlub and hang out with that smelly swamp critter ratzenhofer.

I see now that my country calls and no matter what, I must heed.

GKE is the "caring" party?! Give us a break! Now they're co-opting the "compassion" plank of LOVE & BEAUTY's platform. <shaking head> That's all they can do? Sure sign of a campaign with a lack of direction.

VOTE LOVE & BEAUTY. We know what we stand for.
(And we know what we lie down for, too. Wink )

Parties are for losers...people who cannot make it on their own. Parties are for people who always want to for a committee...and then want to become its co-chairman.

Then nothing gets done...because people who form parties or who form committees are not doers.

MY NEW CAMPAIGN SLOGAN:

NOT ONLY WILL YOU PISS OFF LOTS OF PEOPLE YOU'D LOVE TO PISS OFF BY VOTING ME IN...YOU WILL ALSO GET ADEQUATE AND PASSIONATE REPRESENTATION IN WHATEVER MATTERS THIS OFFICE GETS TO DEAL WITH...

...if any.

We're not creating new rules, farmerman. That's the way SCoates set this up. Look, there are three polls. Of the 8-10 nominees on Poll #2 (this one), I actually voted for you. (That was early on, before Dag joined our cause. I regret it now, but I can't change my vote.) And I voted on Poll #1 and Poll #3. So I got three votes, just like everyone else. In the final election, we'll only get one vote apiece. (Right, SCoates?) So, as I said, these votes are only for nominations. The party with the most votes (most people) in the final election will be the winning party.

Why am I explaining this to my competition?!

VOTE LOVE & BEAUTY. Nobody else understands what's going on.

Parties????

Why parties???

Where is this shyt coming from???

Don't you folks have balls enough to run on your own?

One person...one vote.

And from the looks of things....I think the votes should be cast in a message...rather than in a poll. And since "write-in" votes are allowed in damn near every democracy...all this nonsense about who will make the final list is just that...nonsense.

This election...if it is not held openly and out front...with viewed voting so we know the ballot box is not being stuffed...is a fraud. The person elected will be President of the Fraud...not of A2K.

Out front and open...so we know who voted for whom. (Obviously, some people will decline to vote.)

free and fair election guarantees you anonymous voting. parties are perfectly fine. in many proportional representations, winning party nominates a candidate and then assembly votes whether he or she becomes president.
we (slovakia) have done away with it and have direct presidential election, but there are many other ways out there in the world.
i see nutin wrong with the electoral process here. Don't let yourselves be confused! You know the best place to be - on o LOVE bus, with us!

I have to agree with Dag. (It's in our contract.) The voting must be anonymous. Otherwise, people might fear threats and recriminations from candidates such as yourself. (I'm sure that's not what you had in mind. Or is it?)

Alliances are natural and (dare I say it?) highly desirable. The winning party must be able to demonstrate its ability to work with others. A2K is a democracy, as evidenced by this election. I doubt most would vote for an autocracy.

So.....work WITH us, Frank! (There's fast cars & pretty women in it for ya.)

"I cannot be bought," he said with a straight face...one evidencing pure determination.

People seeking alliances are people who don't have the balls to go it alone....

...ohhhh....

....ohhhh....

...I see now.

Please substitute "courage" wherever and whenever I have written "balls" in any previous messages.

Two things:

One...nobody ever got anything done in committee.

Two...make the voting anonymous...and you might just as well do away with the vote completely and simply declare yourselves the winner.

Saddam would be proud of such a move.

Absolutely no reason to "protect" anonymity in this kind of cyber election. The results will be clearer if we didn't...and the vote will be much, much less suceptible to fraud.

One person...one vote. And the vote should be for an individual...not a committee or a party. AND THE VOTE SHOULD BE OPEN FOR ALL TO SEE....a raised hand at a round table rather than the sneaky little cop-out that seems to be favored.

VOTE FOR SOMEONE WHO IS NOT AFRAID TO SPEAK HIS MIND. SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT NAMBY PAMBY AROUND.

VOTE FOR FRANK APISA....PISS OFF SOMEONE YOU HATE!

a raised hand so that it is easier for you to aim and shoot?

I DON'T THINK SO!!!

the benefit of the polls is that everyone has one and only one anonymous vote. just like in real election. i mean, elsewhere, in most other countries. in theory, anyways...

And I suppose you have devised a means to insure that that each person will deliver just one anonymous vote???

Wouldn't care to share how, would you?

Jeez...it seems that people reluctant to run on their own are also reluctant to stand up and be counted. Is there a pattern developing here? Do we want to be represented by that sort?

VOTE FOR FRANK APISA. PISS OFF SOMEONE WHO DESERVES IT.

If someone wants to post the name of the person they vote for, that's up to them. But it shouldn't be required. That would intimidate too many. Between your threats of eternal damnation and Lord Ellpus's free redneck proctologist on the loose, there are already enough reasons for people to be afraid around here.

We didn't make up these rules, Frank. (SCoates did.) We're just playing by them. Can't you play by the rules, too?

Cluck, cluck, cluck.

Anyone who wants to be represented by people afraid to stand up and be counted in public deserve what they will get.

People who will say and do whatever doesn't threaten them.

No reason to be afraid of words.

There is absolutely no reason to for this to be a secret ballot unless you think there is an advantage to keeping it secret.

VOTE FOR FRANK APISA....HE IS FOR FREE AND OPEN ELECTIONS.

We will not let this Grinch steal free and fair election!
