It seems the other parties have run out of steam, Dag. Lord Ellpus is over on the "Welcome to A2K" thread, recruiting newcomers to the site for his EKG party. And Nimh is nowhere to be seen. Probably out trying to save the world while A2K languishes.
Which leaves the field clear for us.
Let's fire up the Love Buses and go! You & Dys can take his Porsche instead, if you like, and the buses will follow. Where shall we go first?! Pets & Garden? Politics? Humor? You name it.

Well, if nothing else this a2k electioneering has brought the truely jiggy nutters to the forefront of this forum. Reminds me of the adage "you can't study darkness with floodlights" As I will be leaving this envirnoment in a few days to place my soul in the hands of "old europeans" such as Walter/Francis/Thomas and, of course the olde english as in McTag I bid you my leave and wish you well. I shall relay my personal observations of exploding frogs and English food if the lady Diane is able to keep me out of the clutches airport of security.

And from the looks of things....I think the votes should be cast in a message...rather than in a poll. And since "write-in" votes are allowed in damn near every democracy...all this nonsense about who will make the final list is just that...nonsense.
This election...if it is not held openly and out front...with viewed voting so we know the ballot box is not being stuffed...is a fraud. The person elected will be President of the Fraud...not of A2K.
Out front and open...so we know who voted for whom. (Obviously, some people will decline to vote.)

At first glance your ideas look good, but I'm afraid even Jimmy Carter would object to elections being run this way.
