power cord was plugged in, breaker tripped and was reset, cord unplugged, now I have no power to an entire room and part of another...Bad breaker?

@daisy5501,
maybe search in the house for a gfci receptacles that needs to be reset, or flip the breaker again.
could've messed up the wire at the plug with a big enough spark, sometimes the wire going into the breaker can spark enough to loosen it from the breaker.
