So, I came across a cover-band page, to find out someone I know (in a semi-professional environment) is in that band. Would it be creepy to tell them I saw it, or is it more creepy to not say anything? Also, if I do say something, how do I say it without sounding weird.

Why not just say something and make it sound like you were happy to see them doing whatever they were doing.

Why were you looking at the cover band page? Was it because you were looking out for this person? If the answer is yes, you will sound a bit creepy so keep your mouth shut.
If there is another reason, by all means tell them and wish them the best.
