Hi.

I am a pretty short man. I would like to learn to fight. Which do you recommend?

One where you can also learn to kick or not as I'm short, would it help to fight tall men? (self-defense)
If so, what do you guys prefer more? Muay Thai or Kick-boxing and why?

I got no friends, I don't speak to anyone and I feel empty. What's one that relieves all your anger and your sadness?

Thank you guys

I did Muay Thai for about 3yrs it's good because it transfers over to the real world application real well in comparison to say Taekwondo. I beat the crap out of a black belt red stripe in Taekwondo when I was just a level one in MT because he trained for points not real life . my favorite was BJJ I did that for 6 yrs and became one of the instructers at my dojo by the 3rd yr and I feel it's the most beneficial especially if your not tall because the shorter you are the better you will be . doing kickboxing I was all legs I loved kicking because at 5.10'ish I was always going up against 6ft to 6ft3" guys that punch you from the other side of the ring lol but if I got them on the ground it's over spidermonky there ass in 30sec it's over lol. The most beneficial thing I think I got was the integrity and discipline and you learn about the fundamentals of life (if your at a good dojo)

Have you tried divorce? (Because in marriage, no one wins).

@roger,
fighting robots, thats about as strategy rich as you can get. all the human contact fights are just killing the pugilists brains slowly so that by the time theyre 40, the two of em will be as intelligent as a head of cauliflower

@Martinobortino,
Not necessarily a good reason for picking up a fighting sport.

However, if you are really interested in martial arts for less questionable reasons...Muay Thai

You can be an expert Muay Thai fighter and get clocked by a big ox twice your size, but it can keep a larger opponent away from you (kicks) and perhaps finish them in a clinch.

Kicks are the great equalizer.

My father taught me boxing (He was a boxing champion in the Army), and it served me very well, but it was only so good against a big ox who didn't mind me repeatedly hitting him in the nose.

When boxing against a larger opponent you have to be very fast, and you have to hope that the lug doesn't like a nose bleed. Most don't, but every now and again you find yourself in a fight with the wrong guy, and then you need to be willing to absorb punishment. Fortunately for me, I never got in a fight with someone who could have killed me who was not willing to kill me. Most of those such fights involve weapons.
