That is BS and you know it. There are reasons why homosexuals go into the priesthood and that too I am sure you are aware of.
I used to work in a record store because it made it easier for me to add to my collection. I would imagine a homosexual would become a priest for that reason as well, among others.

Neatly put.
thank you sir. Even a defective clock is right twice a day.
There have been non-white popes before, albeit they're all from the 1st 500 years AD.
Jesus wasnt white so whats all the hooha!!
He was born in Bethlehem, his mum, I assume was from around there and would have had darker skin,ie, not white

Than were did all the white Palestinians,Arabs and communities of north African and Middle eastern Jews come from?
No idea, maybe over years of mixed race relationships they became white!
I reckon back in Jesus's time there wasnt much of that going on.
What colour was Joseph/God?
material girl.
It is far more likely the other way around.
How do you mean?
God was a black woman???!!
Joseph impregnated Mary and they just made the angel thing all up??!

Sorry but I have no idea what you are talking about.

It's only 2000 years ago ... and we do know quite certain how people around Palestine looked like: the very same as today.
I heard on NPR that technically, anyone can become the next pope (well, anyone of male gender and over certain age). It does not say anywhere it has to be a cardinal. If that is true, again, technically, pool of potential candidates is much wider. Not that there are real chances the electors would take that into consideration, I suppose. or are there?
it is very nice and appropriate to stress qualities of the next pope. however, catholic church is also a political organization with constituency all over the world and has to think about, much like all other political organizations, about representation etc. thus the question of non-european pope is also appropriate and timely.
I heard that in the Bible anyone who is not 100% white is considered 'coloured'.
So was Jesus 100% white.
I picture Jesus as having olive skin, and God with lighter skin tone (like a french person). But that's just my take on them.
So take it for what it's worth.

So was Jesus 100% white.
100% percent white would make a person albino, wouldn't it? So if your finding/statement has any truth to it, most people are coloured.
Do you really want to discuss about how Jesus looked like?
According to forensic scientists, he may have looked like this:
The whole article:
The Real Face of Jesus
fbaezer, I have seen that rendition and I disagree Jesus looked like that. I guess we all see what we want to see.
What ever works for the individual is good. This is close to what I see, but with thicker eyebrows, dark hair and a pronounced brow line.
