Please help - can I get out of my contract

Tue 8 Jan, 2019 05:56 am
I have a contract with my wedding planner, recent relevations has come to light that he is on the sex offender register ( with a case against children under 10) and women.
This is a person who is due to be available on my wedding day.

regardless of what the contract states - can something like this void a contract?
I have paid over a thousand for services which 80% tasks are yet to be completed,
Would I be entitled to a refund based on what I have found out?
There are a lot of brides stuck right now on what to do.

@Molly0987,
you need to talk to an attorney.

Legal advise is not given on A2k.

Yep. When there's this much $$ at stake, get a professional.

Most contracts of this sort have a cancellation clause in it. What does yours say?

You will probably lose your deposit.

Consult legal help if this involves a lot of money.
