Don't you prefer the baby vegetables and the tender shoots.

Did you know that fresh, young vegetables have more moisture than mature vegetables?

Isn't that the reverse with people?

Isn't it true that that's the most vile, disgusting, and vulgar post I've ever read here (with the exception of some of my hen-related posts)?

Do you mean apples, oranges and bananas?

I'm ready to hear about bananas, aren't I? Heh, I may be reviled for my meaty beefy name, but am I not personally ambivalent on the matter of cattle munching? That is a long story, which I've told from time to time, but not here, have I? Not to belabor that now, at this time, shan't we move on to fruits and their juicinesses?

<she says, thinking, first, the orange... or is anyone against the orange being first among many?>

How about them? My friend, Mary Lou, had a kumquat tree outside her back door and actually gathered kumquats from it (Santa Monica, CA) But me, I think, what do you mean, peel kumquats?

I haven't experienced a good kumquat myself, but I gather that since I blew them off, they are now hip in the culinary world...

But never mind all that. I think that if you live around where they grow, you just pick one when ripe and eat it...

Isn't that a rather aggressive assault on fruit?
