well im doin a contest with my bro to see who can cook better. Well i need a breakfast recipe which is easy n very taste
You gave us three minutes. How 'bout patience on a platter...
srry but i wrote that like a sec later
Will you have access to an oven, or does this need to be a stovetop-based menu?
stove topp n i guess oven too i guess but i hate puttin oven on in the morin for sum reason
Are there any cost or time limitations you've agreed to, in your contest?
nope i want it easy n good im not much of a cook anything will do
Does it all have to be from scratch?
Or can some prepared ingredients be part of the meal?
(I know - lots of questions, but I don't want to recommend something that's not allowed.)
anything it can be from scratch or prepared.
I'd suggest something like a veggie quiche that you've made using a pre-made pie crust, unless you're good with pastry.
Some protein - either some smoked salmon, or bacon, or sausages.
Fresh fruit on the plate.
Some very good juice.
You'll have a very impressive breakfast if you put that on the table.

and all quite simple if you can cut fruit and veg, and beat eggs with a fork
the most complicated part is the timing of things
How about a German apple pancake? My kids love it.
It's baked in a cast iron skillet or an oven-safe non-stick skillet.
2 large eggs
1/4 cup half and half (cereal cream)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/2 cup flour
1 tablespoon butter (preferably unsalted)
3 medium tart apples (like Granny Smith), peeled and cut into 1/4 inch thick slices
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons confectioners sugar (icing sugar)
Maple syrup, warmed
Your oven rack should be in the middle of the oven. Preheat the oven to 500 degrees.
Combine eggs, half and half, vanilla, salt, and granulated sugar in a blender or food processor until well combined, about 15 seconds. Add the flour and mix until there are no lumps, about 30 seconds.
Add the butter to the skillet and heat over medium heat until the butter is foamy. Add the apples and sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over them. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the apples begin to turn light brown, about five minutes. Continue cooking, stirring constantly, until the are golden brown, about 4 - 5 minutes. Remove from the heat.
Quickly pour the batter into the skillet over the apples and place the skillet into the oven. Reduce the heat to 425 degrees and cook until browned and puffy, 16 - 17 minutes. Using a rubber spatula, slide the pancake out of the skillet and onto a platter. Dust with the confectioners sugar. Serve with the warmed maple syrup.
Here's a whole list of ideas. You can pick what sounds good to you:
