@coluber2001,
Einstein couldn't accept Bohr's view (stated above) emanating from QM. The empirical findings of 'entanglement' as predicted from QM ultimately undermined Einstein's position.
As far as Einstein's 'God' iis concerned, the consensus was that it was at best the 'uncaring' God of Spinoza. Whether that would play into the hands of the ID camp or not, and the contribution the QM factor to that, remains a potentially interesting .debate.

@fresco,
Have you ever read any of the works of fiction of Hannu Rajaniemi?

@edgarblythe,
He wasn't a theologian. He was a Mystic. That he was an intellectual genius had nothing to do with any religious epiphanies he may have experienced.

@coluber2001,
His conclusions in that regard bear no more weight than my own.

@fresco,
Start with "The Quantum Thief"

If you like it there are two more.

The author is a scientist, but he's also very much a romantic and he attempts (successfully I think) to combine the two perspectives in a very interesting tale, the science of which I fully admit I can't always follow.

@coluber2001,
Sort of like Krugman and Chomsky's expertise in their original fields having any bearing on the validity of their political views.

@Finn dAbuzz,
I've scanned a sample and find it a bit heavy going but I've also looked at some video talks by him and find him interesting.

@fresco,
It is more than a bit heavy going, but if you persevere you very well may consider yourself rewarded

@Finn dAbuzz,
[one] "who believes in the spiritual apprehension of truths that are beyond the intellect."

All in all a pretty good definition of a mystic.

@coluber2001,
Indeed.

I’m not a devotee of the human intellect
