i am currently debating whether or not to purchase a 99 ford mustang with 149,000 miles for 2 thousand dollars. is this a worthwhile price and how long would the car last me?

A 99 Ford Mustang with 149,000 miles on it for two thousand dollars.....hmmm....ARE YOU CRAZY? If I could drive a car like that for 2 grand.........Don't know how long the car would last, just make sure you check all the fluid levels regularly, and geez, for $2000, bag the hell out of it.......lol......I dunno, that's mt two cents.
If it does not knock ping or make any wierd noises I would buy it!!!!!!! Make sure the tranny fluid does not smell burn't if it is an automatic. If it is a V8 and hasn't been beat you have another 100K left in it. I don't really have an opinion on the V6.
