Albert Camus. I'll look into it, Adrian. Thanks.

Gus, thanks. Maybe you're onto something there. Are you comfortable in your directionless life yet?

littlek, thinking too much is probably a major part of it. Does that mean that we are too self-involved?

I'm retarded tonight. I'm going to bed. Kicky, you'll feel better in about 4 years. S'ok. You don't think too much. You just want more out of life. I've recommended this book on a number of threads.... try "Passages" by Gail Sheehy. It talks about predictable adult crises (they're not all crises - that's just what she calls them) and 38 - 42 for men is a good part of the book.

Good night.

Ah, I'm a little backed up tonight, actually. I'll have to reschedule. Could I kill you on Thursday?

I just stepped away from the computer for a second to watch Joe Kidd throw a kettle of gruel in a fellow prisoner's face and when I get back to the thread, expecting to see nothing, thinking everyone was asleep, and here there is all this chattering! Kicky was here. And littlek. And Patiodog. And JB.

So much has happened since I've been gone.

Another chapter in a directionless life.

why didn't you just delete that post, kicky. Now you've wasted a perfectly good spot by putting the word "edit" in it.

The horror.

Okay, Camus, Hess, and Passages, by Gail Sheehy. I will take these suggestions under consideration. By the way, who is Hess, littlek? I thought that was the name of a gas station.
