Coincidences Queenie?

Can you elaborate on that particular sphere of life's enthralling mystique?

Spendi could be a simple coin - cidence for instance, would that make him a coincidence in reality or a coincidental figment of your non coincidental existence in general?

Queenie-

So are millions of others.Success in life is about overcoming it.

How old are you and let's have the truth roughly. You have given an impression of 18-19 with the A level stuff.

The tried and tested method is knitting, crochet, cooking,Coronation St etc,pot plants and some evening class, pride in appearence,a bloke to boss. And reading of course but not the moaning-minnie stuff.Keep active though and cut out the moping.Millions spend half the day doing word puzzles.

It is my humble opinion that a small band of feminists have ruined the lives of millions of women. They have raised expectations out of all proportion in order to sell newspapers and controversial TV.They made their names and you ordinary ladies, who are the salt of the earth actually, take the blame.

I don't like pills of any description although I know they are sometimes necessary.Try eating properly. You are what you eat.I'm a vegan.

But I don't know really. It's up to you.If you are sad and anxious it will cause things which will make you more sad and anxious.Try VIZ-that's a good laugh and good laughs are priceless.Don't watch sad stuff.

Cheers. No, im 17.
I have a good life, i have amazing friends, a good college, etc etc etc. Im just not happy.
Things like tv can help take my mind off things, but behind that is still the anxiety and sadness. It doesnt really go away.

Queenie-

Perhaps you are naturally given to melancholia.I don't buy into that kind of thing actually.I'm more inclined to the nurture explanations.Perhaps you have been the centre of attention too long and now find the wider world unforgiving. If that is the case it is the former where the error lies. The wider world is just the wider world and it will not mould itself to your ideas. It is quite common for spoilt young ladies to find the wider world a bit fierce.

Confidence grows from humility not from pride.

But I'm no therapist and even if I was I would need a lot more information before I would contemplate any specific advice especially on an open thread.

I wish I was a 17 year old young lady with the world at my feet and getting an A and 2 Bs (was it?).

Growing pains Queenie.

It should pass. But sadness and anxiety is a vicious circle which has dire consequences if not checked.
Try to enjoy this wide world.Never sulk.Go with the flow and don't sell your charms too cheaply.Young men are very dangerous.

What were the 4 subjects?

And young women are too quick to fall for a false smile or a witty rogue.

G'morning PQ.

In my extensive career as a witty rouge I have been told on numerous occasions that young men are useless, hopeless, stupid, weak, boring, unimaginative, stamina challenged and a complete waste of time.

You need to bin the pills Queenie, and if you are only, truly 17 years of age, you should not be getting prescribed such drugs. You need to join a gym, get busy, take long walks, and stop dwelling in a cess pool of self righteous pity. It's no good for you or for anyone that happens to be around you. At a true 17 years of age your on the threshold of life, enough natural problems are going to meet you. However, if you are only wishing you were 17, then your equally aware of the pitfalls. Tell me, what really is bugging you so much?
