George predicts the final score in the late game tonight will be 24-21.
Panzade is going with the same score of 24-21.
J Aumen says the score will be 24-23.
Fbaezer thinks it will a high scoring game ending at 28-21.

Coin-Toss has offered to help out IF the total points leave George and Panzade tied. Heads for George; Tails for Panzade.
CT has flipped. It's ... TAILS.

Of course they could play rock, paper, scissors. Coin-Toss scoffs at that game, though.

@George,
I counted 9 but that just could be my abacus was purchased in a dollar store. I’m recounting it but luckily I don’t my toes to help. It’s hard to bend down to take off my sneakers.

Maxine and I counted 7 for her so something is awry.

@Ragman,
Got it. You guys sorted out correctly. I made a similar error in past years re Balt Colts.

Recounting Maxine’s. She’s weaping salty 😭 and it’s messing up the cookies 🍪 she baked for everyone!

What about the Steelers-Browns game?
That ended in a tie, so does that count as a win for both teams?

@George,
I figure to get 11.

Why? For the Browns a tie is like a win.

We could go either way on that, I guess.
Everyone's score goes up one or everyone's score stays the same.
It's a wash.

Well, week #1 is in the books. And I do not think it could have been any closer. Four way tie at the top. In the tie-breaker, we had George and Panzade with 45 points, Jaumen with 47 and fbaezer eliminated with 49. The three still in all had the winning team with 24 points. So that cannot break the tie. Since Panzade and George were closest to the losing team's score, they remain tied for the weekly win.

So, they will simply have to arm wrestle or play a game of beer pong to decide who wins the week. In the meantime, I'll crown both of them.

Code:Week 1 % Wins Losses
George 0.688 11 5
Panzade 0.688 11 5
Jaumen 0.688 11 5
fbaezer 0.688 11 5
CoastalRat 0.625 10 6
RJB 0.625 10 6
JPB 0.625 10 6
Lightning22 0.625 10 6
Ragman 0.625 10 6
ehBeth 0.625 10 6
Imur 0.563 9 7
McGentrix 0.563 9 7
CowDoc 0.563 9 7
Mz CowDoc 0.563 9 7
Euroceltic 0.563 9 7
Edgarblythe 0.500 8 8
Maxine 0.500 8 8
Rhys 0.500 8 8
Ticomaya 0.500 8 8

@CoastalRat,
Thanks, CR. Be safe! My in-laws are in Charleston. So far they're planning on sheltering in place. Will be watching closely.

@JPB,
Yeah, we are just inland from Charleston. We normally stay. Although after Hugo we would seriously consider leaving town for a Cat.4. (Were watching this one closely.) We are under a mandatory evacuation at this time and if we lived closer to the coast we would likely go just to be sure. But it looks a bit more like we won't have any major issues if the current landfall guesses hold. Stinks for NC though. Hope the coastal residents up there heed the warnings and head out. This looks like it could be a nasty one.
