Coin Toss was born, or invented, to aggravate Spendius, who was a British player who was, or pretended to be, a grumpy old guy who spent his days and evenings in his local pub. Spendius used the oddsmakers in England to win our game two seasons in a row.
He hated, or pretended to hate, Coin Toss's eternal cheerfulness.
