Panzade,

I saw Van once in Bath (sis lives there) staring at a dead cow in the river. Strange but true. I didn't speak to him.

I have a fixation with Van in his younger days with Them.
I think it comes from hearing Mystic Eyes as a teen and buying a harmonica to play along with him. I have been looking to buy the album on Parrot Records...but I just can't afford the high price.

Apparently. he gets very grumpy if approached. I must confess I'm not a huge fan but I do respect his talent.

Hi Girlfriend,
Hi Everybody,
My favourite songs from the 90s are:
Hit by The Sugar Cubes [Bjork's old band]
Wonderwall by Oasis
Gone to September by Wycliff Jean
Feel it [?} by The Tamperer, not sure if that's the proper title but it goes
"What's she going to look like with a chimney on her..." Laughing

I like the Boz Scaggs song for the line:

"It's like yonder mockingbird in the Cotton Wood tree"

Yeah, a hit of the 80's

Bozz was a hell of a blues singer when he started out in the Steve Miller band

I heard that Boz Scaggs was in SMB only recently and I was suprised at how long Steve Miller has been around, yet I don't think I have ever seen a still picture of him. The only image I remember is the blurred one [obscurity aided by flying hair] on the cover of "Fly like an Eagle" from 1977.

Thinking of the Fly like an Eagle era puts me in mind of another top 3 but first I'd like to say to Lash, if you're still tuning in, that I've ordered the Bad Company C.D.

Hitch a ride by Boston
Serenade by Steve Miller Band
Don't fear the reaper by Blue Oyster Cult Smile Smile
