I wonder if anybody would be interested in naming their 3 fave songs of all time?

Let me start us off:

1. The right thing to do - Carly Simon
2. Bengali in platforms - Morrissey
3. My brother Jake - Free

Any offers? Smile

Why am I such a sucker for these 'favorite' lists?

<demoralized>

...and they likely change every time I do them...

ah hell

Today, for some fey reason...

1) I'm No Angel---Gregg Allman
2) Bad Company---Bad Company--from the album--Bad Company (tee)
3) Wicked Game---Chris Issak

I'll come back tomorrow if they change....

Why I'd be glad to...only I can't narrow it down to three!

But the following are in my top 20:

Beyond the Sea - Bobby Darin

Kathy's Song - Simon and Garfunkle

Walk Away from Love - David Ruffin (I'm listening to it now)

Most hated is easier:

Getting Away with it - New Order

Your a Lady - Peter Skellern

It's Now or Never - Elvis (sorry)

and I'm not keen on Kinky Reggae

Wow, narrowing it down to 3 is impossible, and as mentioned above, they change daily.

But as Smorgs put it, the following might be in my top 20 on any given day:

Paint It Black - Rolling Stones
Copperhead Road - Steve Earle
5 Days In May - Blue Rodeo

Hey Pan, stop embarrassing me girlfriend...

Smorgs, you have managed to put one of my favourite songs in your hated list. "Getting away with it" is my theme song! "Kinky raggae" is not bad either, especially the live version that was on the b-side of "No woman no cry" and went on for about 8 minutes complete with full introductions to all of Bob's Wailers and his backing singers. You're a strange girl, Smorgs, but I like you.

Do you know I've never listened to a Bad Company album, despite my love of Paul Rodger's work with Free. I'll set about rectifying that from next week.

Anymore top 3s? The shop's still open.

I am listening, as I type, to "Graveyard Train", by CCR.

That song would be battling "When the Music's Over", by The Doors for the #3 slot.

#1 and #2 are the theme songs for Gilligan's Island and Who Wants to be a Millionaire, respectively.
