I sometimes feel like a jar head with the lid on too tight.

((goes with the preservation theme))

I know, I know, it's not funny if it must be explained.

Additionally, I was actually a US Marine at one point.

Dan, that was a funny saying, without an explaination!

I've heard from good authority, Mirmar will never quite be the same.

Here is a link to the obituary for my mother. I am going to put up a couple of photos in the next day or two, so come back and visit more than once. Please let everyone know that they are welcome and encouraged to sign the guest book etc.

Morning all,

Clicked.

Yesterday my Mom turned 90. We had a family meeting for her. She really liked and appreciated the attention. I asked her if she would mind taking care of me and Patti when we got old - she said she would.

What a beautiful avatar, too! Yours is the best "eye candy", ever! It's beautiful here today too, after all that snow last week. We received a light dusting, Friday night. North Jersey got a lot. I'm in the middle, on the coast, (Central Jersey). New Yorkers call us "down the shore". We call them "bennies", (the summer people), but it's done lovingly, because without their support, we'd be one, sleepy, country town, by the sea! Oh, the bennies is for benzedrine; what they take to stay awake to either get here early or leave late in the "snake", that takes them back home, (the GSP, Garden State Parkway). We're made fun of a lot! The State, that is. Always the butt of a joke! This is one state with "everything"! Skiing in the northwest section, the Jersey Shore, where I am, Gambling in Atlantic City, the best blueberries, peaches and the famous, Jersey Tomato, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi and ME!

Awwww! That was so sweet! Imagine, your Mom has good genes, which means that you're also endowed. God Bless Her and You!

Dannon, I'm so glad that there'll be someone to take care of you and Patti if you should ever actually grow old. Somehow I doubt that you ever will.

Teeny, thanks! I luv American Indian Art, and while scanning a website, I found the avatar pictures <used as navigational icons at the site> and admired the beadwork and pattern.

Here's a link to the site. Each artist pictured on the page has his or her own gallery of paintings. Just click on a name to view their work.

Happy Birthday to Danon's Mom ~

What a sweet thing to say, Dan. From the nice things you said about your mom, I won't be surprised is she does just what she says.
