I believe in some third-world nations each voter is fingerprinted as part of the voting process. Some newspaper articles on the voting show a picture of a voter holding his/her inked finger up.
Is fingerprinting an efficient & effective system of having a fair election?
Is it used in any part of the United States?
Would it be advantageous to institute it?
