I recognize that road and that sign. This was part of a local evangelical congregation's wish to rank Barstow, California up there with Gomorrah and Sodom. They ran a TV spot featuring a long line of extremely tanned nudes standing along the side of the road as a junior high school bus drove past, young people slobbering on the windows. The bus driver suddenly rises from his seat, turns to the students (and to the camera) and commences with a funky brimstone rap...
