Unfortunately, I live in Maryland and it's impossible unless you are a liquor distributor to buy spirits anywhere else but a liqour store. Can't go to Virginia and have anything shipped back, can't direct ship from California. I think it is still legal to buy a case and drive back with it, but our tax laws prevent too much shopping out of state. The Comptroller doesn't want to lose the tax revenue. Other than that, I like where I live.

Calamity, have you ever had any luck making your own wine??? I'm sure it could be very satisfying, but I don't think my talents compare to the vintners already out there. Maybe some of the locals carry that wine, I just have never looked for it before. I do like the Chambord.

I never tried it glitter, but my grandfather was big in
making his own wine, and it was quite good, I might add.
He lived to be 95 years old and he contributed it all to
the pure wine he made

I'm intrigued. I'm pretty sure I've never had anything Blackcurrant unless perhaps I was unaware that was what I was consuming...?
