In 1985, the most power you could get in a Camaro was the 305 IROC. It came with one of three different 305s: a wheezy 155hp version or, L69, which was 190hp and LB9 which was the TPI version making 215hp. Nothing special. I could spank an 85 camaro with my wife's Camry... literally. The IROC 350 didn't show up until 1987, but the power didn't increase... still 215hp.

Compare your 4.6 in your mk VIII to one of the same year camaro with an LT1 or LS1, and you will be seriously hurt. Or, conversely, try a Mark VII from 1985 against that same 85 Camaro, and your 140-hp 5.0 and the extra 1000 lbs over a camaro would put you somewhere between a Yugo and an MoPed while the Camaro sails onto the freeway.

Compare apples to apples, man. You can't take a Smog-wheezer 80's car and compare it to a later model car. Also, if you want to be taken seriously on the slightest level, use the "spell Check." Your posts are very colloquial and difficult to follow. You'll sound more intelligent if you do.
