Well one way conservatives argue is to offer one way tickets to any Americans who wish to renounce their citizenships and move to France or England or Germany or any other country they consider to be superior to the United States.

This is kind of weird.... I think it's a bit too much of

the Conservatives = the Government = America

And if you criticize the Party, well, how about leaving the country... Doesn't this somehow remind you of the Evil Empire of the USSR? Back then, you know?

Hey we weren't the ones who said they would leave if their guy didn't win. They said it. We just agreed with the decision. You have a problem with that?

It's all good Lola. You guys can take figure out what I'm saying and take the advice or keep doing it the way you've been doing it and keep on losing elections into the next century. The politics of opposition, negativity, doom, gloom, and criticism with no positive alternative offered is just simply a turn off for most Americans. The difference between conservatives and liberals is that both may be critical of what they think is wrong, but the conservatives are mostly for something, not just mostly against something. Our best arguments aren't just bashing the opposition.

[She says as she bashes the opposition, telling them she wishes they would leave the country. Tired joke anyway.]

So then, this isn't an example of your best argument?

No, it doesn't. We are merely suggesting they act on their urges. They express a desire to leave this country ... we implore them to follow-through with that desire.

Bit of a stretch to compare that to the Communist Party. I should think we would just Gulag them if that were the case, huh?

What a funny idea Very Happy

So, if you say 'we' - do you mean the Conservatives, or the Government, or the United States of America?

Dys was demonstrating a liberal argument technique. I'm surprised you didn't recognize it, or assign it a number.

Excuse me,

Yelling 'shut up' is a conservative argumentative technique, pioneered and perfected by Bill O'reilly. Noone else even comes close to the number of times this 'news' anchor has yelled at people to shut up.

He can call himself whatever he wants; it doesn't change the fact he's a conservative.

See Zell Miller.
