Healthy and Explosive Players
ben_dover wrote:how can u even say duke has a chance this year yeah Reddick is a great player but duke doesnt have the team to go all the way... one player does not win a championship. I feel that ok state has a really good shot at goin all the way and so does michigan state:)
First of all I would like to say, especially to all y'all Duke haters, base your arguments on facts and stats and not just opinion. With that said I would like to get to the quote of Ben_dover. If you watched the game last night against Virginia, you know that Melchioni can be a large factor. He is a very explosive shooter. Also now that McClure is healthy, he is a factor. He is explosive toward the hoop and with his cuts. Another player of note is DeMarcus Nelson. A standout in highschool and a fast, solid player. I would like to note that all these players are freshmen so that shows a little about my point. Next, the nation's number 1 guard, Reddick, went through a shooting drought last night, especially in the first half and Duke still had a considerable lead. I'm not sure about you but that sounds like a team to me when you have freshmen stepping up and playing big roles. Also remeber that Duke didn't have Sean Dockery when they barely lost to UNC. Another supporting fact. With all that said, Duke will continue to be tough this year and they will definitely be back in the years to come
Also I would like to point out MSU choking to Iowa.
