State? I wonder why?

I think Kansas, or one of those Tobacco Roaders -- Kentucky, N.C., Wake -- ought to get it done.

Don't think as highly of the Illini as others seem to.

And I normally never count Duke out (but I will this year; witness their loss to Va. Tech last night)...

...welcome to A2K.

Illinois will get to the Final Four and lose.

North Carolina will get to the Final Four and win.

Syracuse will get to the Final Four and lose.

Kansas will get to the Final Four and win.

N.C. vs Kansas with N.C. winning.

Being neither a seer nor a prophet, I definitely cannot say who WILL win, but I would sure love to see Oklahoma State make it to the final 4! Smile

Just my 2 cents and I'm not even an Okie....yet. Smile

For the first time in a few years there is truly no clear-cut favorite IMHO!

Could this be the year a "sleeper" comes up and wins?

Only to the crazies would Duke's season be seen as bad.

I'm still saying this could be the year for a sleeper.

I'm with Neo, if Reddick heats up and Williams plays well inside, who's gonna beat them?

Child:

Not what I had in mind.

I meant that the pressure and expectations are so high at Duke that this season would be considered a "bad year".

I just think that a). Illinois is overrated, and b). Beyond Illinois there's no other clear-cut #1.

I misread what you wrote. I thought you were saying Duke could be a sleeper this year.

But since you didn't, I will. If Reddick and Williams heat up, they won't be beaten.

Not that they couldn't be a sleeper, but I fear we may see a redux of "Black Sunday", the one day where basically all the #1 seeds got beat on the same day.

Gotta love basketball when living in Gods Country!

I'm a huge Duke fan. Daughter pulls for UNC and the boys still dream about when NC State could play.

I would love a UNC v. Michigan or UNC OK final game ... As long as UNC wins.

Ohio State, 65, Illinois 64. Whoops goes undefeated.

Texas upends OK State, and UConn looked pretty good dismantling Syracuse yesterday.

It's going to really be a free-for-all this month.

Not by much, Neo.

Crazy things are happening in the Big 12:

Underdog OU knocked off OSU and Kansas. Then last night OU knocked off TxTech, who was also ahead of them in the standings. OSU fell to Texas last night. Mizzou punked #7 Kansas just now.

Oklahoma could end up being the #1 seed in the Big 12 Conference Tournament.

#3 Kentucky lost to Florida. And now Duke and NC tangle.

This is why I love college hoops.

I still say this champ could be a team like Wake Forest or BC that's just kinda been hanging around in the top 10.

how can u even say duke has a chance this year yeah Reddick is a great player but duke doesnt have the team to go all the way... one player does not win a championship. I feel that ok state has a really good shot at goin all the way and so does michigan state:)
