1. Toasted or straight out of the package?

2. Frosting or no frosting? Flavor?

3.. Do you prefer those strudels that you toast and add that icing packet to?

I like them straight out of the package and frosted (absolutely nothing low-fat since low-fat means ...the icing is skimpy). Eat the edgest first. Kind of like lucky charms. I eat the grain cereal first and save the marshmallow goodness for the end. strawberry is my favorite flavor.

3. No, pop tarts are my favorite.

Chocolate, warmed, not toasted. No low fat....blah....

I also like the strawberry, no frosting, toasted.

Strudles are tooooooooo sugary for me.

Sadness. I finally gave up on the things in spite of the pictures on the boxes.

I had glorious fresh-baked apple strudel from the jewish bakery growing up, and nothing since has ever compared. Especially not the frozen stuff.

Anybody live in St. Louis? Its called Pratzels bakery. Best apple strudel ever.

Toasted, Plain Cherry if I could only find them. The strudel's that you get out of the freezer section are O.K. once in a while. I like to put BUTTER on my pop-tart's. Smile

Brown sugar, toasted. (second favorite being: s'mores, raw)
Once when I was a little kid, I tried to microwave a poptart (our toaster was broken thanks to my younger sister dropping it) and it caught fire. Oops! Embarrassed Mom wasn't happy-- end result being no more pop tarts unless she was out of town and Dad had a craving.

Once I overheard an American tourist in Spain complain loudly that they had no "pop toits" for breakfast over there (I guess she was from NYC).

I didn't know what they were, either. Back in Mexico, I tasted them, and got to appreciate Spaniards better.

As for your questions:

1. Neither.
2. Don't care.
3. Never tasted those strudels. But they seem even more awful than Pop Tarts.
