Does anyone else remember this name from somewhere?

Kids books?

Cartoons?

Weekly Reader?

Highlights? (Maybe he was Goofus and Gallant's neighbor or something.)

I remember Crabby Applebaum being a character's name from somewhere but I can't place it and neither can google.

I'm hoping that some of the same people who helped me rediscover Ishcabibble and Itchy Brothers might remember Crabby Applebaum as well.
