You have nice surroundings, Walter!

I'll really be happy to sip a Schwarzwälder Kirsch with you late May...

Thanks, CL and Francis. (And now you really can enlarge the photos.)

See, CL

(Francis: that wasn't by any bad luck the 22nd? Since both my wife and I are 'on duty' that Sunday in the ballot room [state elections])

Walter,
Thanks for the photos. I have been to Germany several times. Sometimes when I visit my uncle, his wife is away on a "Kur". (He doesn't seem to mind though.)

She probably has a "Kurschatten" Laughing

Francis: Schwarzwaelder Kirsch is nothing to sip - it's a cake,
and soooo good.

Black Forrest has more "Kirsch" one is the cake and the other is equivalent with "Schladerer"

Yes panzade, but it's not as good here...

Well, in Alsace AND in parts of Southern Germany a 'Kirs(c)h' is indeed something to sip.

This http://lupo2.eb-wolfbach.ch/lehrgangb02/ursula/seiten/assessment/Bilder/torte_1a.jpg as well as this http://images.send.com/104349_big.jpg will be offered to Francis

(You don't want to come, but I could present some Kirsch for you as well:

Not from Peters and not from Lippstadt, but Schwarzwaelder
kirschtorte and Kirsch Schnaps.

What's so special about Cafe Peters?

Ask some of the A2K'ers who'll visit in in a fortnight - and Francis in about 6 weeks time

(You can use the link above for a virtual visit - it's really one of the best cafés I know!)
